Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is open to all adult singers in the parish.  Under the direction of music minister, teacher, and composer Boyd Gibson, the choir's repertoire ranges from Renaissance motets and classical masses to African-American spirituals and contemporary choral works.

The choir sings most Sundays of the choir year at the 11:05 liturgy, with rehearsals on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm and Sunday mornings from 10:15-10:55am (as needed).  In addition, the choir participates in an annual concert with the Durham School of the Arts Orchestra, directed by Boyd Gibson, often featuring new works by the director.  Our choir year begins the first Wednesday after Labor Day and ends on or near the feast of Pentecost.  Choir does not meet during the summer months.

Please join us for rehearsals this September.  We welcome new members at any time of year, even if you can only join us for a liturgical season or two.  For more information, contact Boyd Gibson.
