Adult Christian Formation

Adult Christian Formation takes a variety of forms at Holy Family.  From informal book discussions to Bible studies, to in-depth book studies, there are opportunities to grow your faith in addition to the liturgies, fellowship, and service. For more information about the offerings below, contact the Assistant to the Rector, Mo. Michelle Robertshaw.

Lectionary Bible Study

Most weeks throughout the year, the lectionary Bible study meets to discuss the Sunday lectionary textsTo join this often lively conversation, meet in the Conference room downstairs in the church offices at 9am.

Education for Ministry

EFM combines weekly study of scripture, Church history, and theologians with fellowship and discussion of our personal ministry as Christians. The study material was written by the School of Theology of the University of the South and is offered through Episcopal parishes worldwide. It is a four-year program; participants sign up for one year at a time. Holy Family’s EFM group will meet Thursday evenings starting in September. Please contact the group’s mentor, Verlene Kuoni for information on Holy Family's group.  For more information about EFM and sample lessons, see the EFM homepage.
