Christian Education Commission

The Christian Education Commission has charge of formation of children and youth through Sunday School, Vacation Church School, seasonal events for intergenerational or age-specific groups and other programming.  The Commission meets on a weekday evening most months. Visitors and new members are always welcome! To volunteer for a specific program or event, please contact our commission chair Karen Cornett or the Director of Christian Education Wren Blessing.

• Parent’s Group – Ever wish you had a place to take your questions about parenting? Looking for a group who can share the joys and concerns of raising children? Searching for new ways to live your faith with your family? Are your kids older and you’re finding that the questions have changed? Wondering how others are facing the challenges of bullying, technology, schedules? Join us monthly in the Christian Education Commons as the conversation continues!  Parents, godparents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, foster parents, “families of choice” are all welcome!
• Have you rocked a baby lately?  We continue to depend on parishioners to supplement our parish nursery staff on Sunday mornings.  Interested in volunteering on an occasional Sunday?  Contact Wren Blessing or sign up on the nursery door.
